This 5.0 mm Ridge Contouring Bur is designed for preliminary alveolar ridge preparation before ridge splitting procedures.
The pineapple-shaped cutting head is used to trim and flatten a narrow or irregular alveolar crest, helping create a level ridge top with a width of more than 3 mm before the ridge splitting sequence begins.
Made from high-hardness stainless steel, the bur is reusable and designed for controlled bone contouring at a recommended speed of 800–1200 rpm.
