When orthodontic treatment is planned, the sequence of tooth position shifts may include tooth extraction or the pulling of an unerupted tooth to facilitate placement. This means that, for a certain period, a visible gap may result from a missing tooth. Maintaining aesthetics during treatment, especially in visible areas like the front teeth, can be made via pontic wax or pre-made attachments, though some orthodontists prefer leaving the space open for better tooth movement. Since aesthetics is still the priority, and to help a patient with confidence, special conceal paint from Reliance was invented.
